The Lunelle ES70 Solaire are brown coloured custom soft contact lenses for spherical, toric and presbyopic refractive errors.

The Solaire colours can be applied to the following Lunelle products: Spherique, Torique Standard, Torique RX, Variation and Variation Torique RX.

Its wide range of parameters and it’s unique ES70 material allows an optimal adaptation to the eye and therefore highest wearing comfort and long wearing times.

Description

With the tried and trusted ES70 material as a base, Lunelle Solaire uses advanced colouring techniques to effectively darken the wearer’s natural eye colour.

Lunelle Solaire lenses are available in different tints. This means they can be used effectively for glare protection – in addition, or as an alternative to sunglasses.

At SwissLens, their CE certified laboratory and system provide the most accurate re-creation possible of the colours used by CooperVision. However, it is important to note that no re-creation is 100% accurate.
The parameter possibilities can be extended with our flexible system.

Lunelle ES70 Material, the optimal solution for eye health and safety since the '80s.

Through intensive trials and research, ES70 has been proven to be one of the safest soft lens materials available. ES70 is versatile too and can be effectively used for the correction of all types of visual defects.

Outstanding Oxygen Permeability

Material oxygen permeability is an important parameter to consider when fitting any contact lens. For soft lenses, material permeability is related to its water content. The higher the water content the lower the DK value.
However, while the ES70 material used for Lunelle lenses has a hydrophily of 70%, it simultaneously achieves a permeability (Dk) four times higher than that of HEMA and twice as high as that of a material with 55% hydrophily.
ES70 is a non-ionic material. This means Lunelle lenses are resistant to deposits. Fewer lens deposits means better visual quality, improved comfort and the optimisation of oxygen supply throughout the life of the lens.

Great Vision Throughout the Day

All Lunelle lens designs enable good mobility. This allows an excellent flow of tears between the lens and the eye and ensures optimal ocular health. This ‘pumping’ effect also contributes to a higher oxygen supply. When this is combined with ES70s high water content the metabolism of the eye remains practically unaffected, so patients can enjoy great comfort and vision all day.

The ES70 material used for Lunelle contact lenses is composed of PMMA, which makes it robust and transparent, and PVP, which ensures a stable water content. The production of ES70 material will continuous after the take over by SwissLens. The same laboratorie will produce the row material and blank as before and exclusively availalbe for the Lunelle Products from SwissLens. The material involves the use of the most advanced techniques to obtain the stable material. The development of Essilor's polymerisation technology has proven to provide a very consistent material quality.

PRODUCTION SwissLens uses a high-tech lathing technique to achieve optimum reproducibility. Lunelle contact lenses are systematically inspected at all stages to ensure that the parameters remain the same in the dehydrated state
