Frequently Asked Questions

Please read the most frequent questions and answers about the transfer from Lunelle to SwissLens

SwissLens has been manufacturing Lunelle products for Coopervision for 20 years. As CooperVision will stop its own production of Lunelle in UK, CooperVision and SwissLens have reached an agreement and have decided that SwissLens will take over the complete product range of Lunelle. The Lunelle contact lenses manufacturing is therefore perfectly known and mastered by SwissLens, thus facilitating the transition. The entire Lunelle lenses range will continue to be manufactured at SwissLens’ premises in Prilly, Switzerland (near Lausanne, on the north shore of the Lake of Geneva).

From 1st November 2020, SwissLens will be the sole manufacturer of Lunelle contact lenses.

The brands associated with these products (Lunelle, ES70) will, at this date also, be the property of SwissLens SA.

The ES70 material is exclusive to the Lunelle brand.

The Lunelle range will gradually be extended with a wider range of parameters and new products (myopia management, keratoconus, etc.).

All trademarks of Lunelle and also the ES 70 will be transferred to SwissLens on November 1 2020.

SwissLens is not a subsidiary of Coopervision. Neither company has any direct or indirect financial interest in the other.

The only thing we need for a delivery from Switzerland to the EU is your VAT number for the billing of the VAT.

The contact lenses are customs cleared via France and shipped to you without VAT and invoiced (except if your company doesn’t have a VAT number).

SwissLens invoices monthly and sends the invoice at the beginning of the month to the e‑mail address you have specified.

For the SEPA payment, you should use the bank details on the invoice.

In between the European Union, this will be done without VAT (intra-community deliveries) and in the currency corresponding to your geographical area (EUR, GPB, PLN).

For Switzerland, the Swiss VAT applies.

For the distributors, their terms and conditions apply.

See our Tutorial about e-mail invoices.

Existing SwissLens customers do not need to register again.
